Do you have the correct extension *.dxf selected in the file open dialog ?

Do you have unchecked from the menu :

Options -> Application Options -> Annoying dialogs : Import Drawing ?

I can see both layers in the layer list of the CAD but trying to show them fails so as if they would be empty.

All other layers I can activate or deactivate

In the Drawing Options Dialog check the option ' use points for drilling '.

Then the missing layers appear.

Compare the 'Minimum GCode abs arcs' and the 'Minimum GCode no arcs' PP

In the function OnInit() also look for minArcSize = 0.05 --arcs smaller than this are converted to moves

You might give QCAD or A9CAD a try . Both for windows and no charge. Perhaps you have success.

Using a different software the duplicate vectors you can see in the screenshot in the red rectangle.

Importing your drawing in SheetCAM removed as duplicate vectors all those in the red rectangle.

Don't use Illustrator but maybe you're using more than one layer and so you might have duplicate vectors on different layers you don't see but SheeCAM ?

Could you upload a drawing bringing this message ?
