Cutting holes on rotary
Could you add a feature to cut holes on a pipe in rotary with X and Y axis while using a rotary plasma setup to cut the pipe ends. That would be great ,Thanks

Why do you want to do that?

It helps when there have to be rods of smaller dia. (then the pipe) going through the pipe.

Why not just cut the holes using the rotary axis?

Instead of unwrapping the outside of the tube, use the inside. In SheetCam map the drawing to the inside of the tube. That will ensure that your rods fit.

Re: Cutting holes on rotary
Honestly rotary cutting holes makes the holes look sloppy and oversized especially if they're not getting welded. I've cut the holes with both methods and I think using X Y method looks cleaner. But it's up to you ig...Les Newell wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 10:28 am Instead of unwrapping the outside of the tube, use the inside. In SheetCam map the drawing to the inside of the tube. I would need to think on this one. You are the first person to ask for it.
