DETERMINING THE TOTAL LENGTH FO A PLASMA CUT PATH
Is it possible to determine the total length of a plasma cut in Sheetcam; whether it consisits of a single piercing and cut (e.g. cutting out a rectangle), or multiple piercings and cuts?
Thanks,

Re: UPDATING AND REPLACING CUTTING TOOLS IN EXISTING JOBS
Thank you Les, I was not aware of this possibility. It will make a huge difference in updating jobs with the revised tools! Having to select the correct tool will not be a problem. Thanks again.

Re: UPDATING AND REPLACING CUTTING TOOLS IN EXISTING JOBS
Thank you very muchfor the clarification Les. From what you say, I conclude that there is no way of overwriting the old toolset attached to a particular job, with the new, modified or revised toolset? If so, that then means that I must manually edit and re-allocate a new toolset to a few hundred job...

UPDATING AND REPLACING CUTTING TOOLS IN EXISTING JOBS
I use Sheetcam in plasma cutting and will appreciate advice please. My list of tools for plasma cutting became jumbled up, confusing, and unclear, so I decided to edit them all and re-compile a new list. The numbering of the new list consequently totally different to the original one, which now no l...

Re: "No paths generated, tool may be too big"
Hi Les, thank you. Yes. still getting the error message. I re-checked the drawing and found two nodes on top of each other and deleted one, but I'm still getting the same warning. And I have not attempted to cut pending your comments and advice. Re-looking at the drawing, I think that the message is...

Sorry about that, will post the job file. But please guide me: where do I find "File->save job" to attach the job file?

"No paths generated, tool may be too big"
Hi, I imported a dxf file (drawing) and took it through the normal steps to create a .tap file for plasma cutting but when I applied the tool to be used for the cutting, I got the following message: "No paths were generated. The tool may be too big or there may be a problem with the drawing&quo...

DETERMINATION OF LINEAR LENGTH OF A PLASMA CUT
Does Sheetcam perhaps have a function whereby the total linear length of cutting carried out by a plasma cutter can be determined?
